The Cliffhouse

39.181945, -106.876074,  Aspen, CO 81611 (on buttermilk mountain)

The Cliff House is a fine restaurant, but the view of the mountains and the trip to get there make up for it by far. To get there, you can ski or snowboard in the winter, or hike in the summer! Honestly, that’s the best part!

The restaurant gets busy on occasion, but it’s usually pretty smooth. The food is fine and they have lots of options, so it’s easy to find something to eat. Personally, I recommend the cheese burger with a side of fries, and don’t recommend the chicken fingers. There are lots of other good things to eat though!

The first thing to do when you walk in (especially when it’s busy) is get a table and put your stuff down. If you donโ€™t, then you might never find a table and will be holding trays of food. If you can’t find an empty table, then find a big table with other people and ask if you can join.

Now, on to the downsides. As I said before, It gets busy. Like, really really REALLY busy. So busy that you can’t walk around without bumping into someone and dropping you lunch. Also, it gets kinda dirty sometimes. With all the people, the staff don’t have time to clean every table after every use. also,

it gets expensive. VERY expensive. Bring plenty of money. The prices get a lot higher on the mountain.

When you leave, make sure to give your tray to a staff member (don’t just leave it on a table) near the trash and they’ll take care of it for you, or if you don’t see any staff members, just put it away yourself. Grab some peanut m&ms for the rest of your adventure, get your skis, and head on out!

P.S If this sounds formal it’s because I used it for an english assignment.

Mogano/Mahogany pizza

Mahogany Hill Western Rd, Nassau Bahamas

So, this is a restaurant that you have to be vaccinated to go to unless you’re not old enough. I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I usually get the gnocchi Sorrentina, which is gnocchi with tomato sauce and cheese. Also, watch out for the bread, which is delicious. And at the end of your meal, you get some free stuff, which includes almond cookies, and chocolate things. (the almond cookies are better!) And last but not least, mahogany pizza. It’s an amazing pizza place right next to Mogano. Order some pizza, sit down, relax, then eat! So, If you like Italian food, and happen to be in the Bahamas, then come here. Enjoy!

Wave in albany Bahamas

Pop-up at Albany Club

Nassau, The Bahamas

Wave is a beautiful pop-up restaurant on the beach. they have blue glasses and awesome mocktails. Start with the lychee mojito and then discover what they have to eat for the evening. The chefs (from all over the world) change every month or so, but the food is consistently amazing.

In bad weather, the booths inside are cozy and warm. On nice days, select a table close to the ocean, so that you can have fun in the sand between courses. Sometimes (mostly during Sunday brunch) they have great live music!

Sushi Rokkan

Windsor Field Road, Old Fort Bay Centre

Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas

When you get a craving for sushi in The Bahamas, head straight to Sushi Rokkan! On the west side of the island, near Old Fort Bay, they serve great sushi in the restaurant or as takeout.

Start with the miso soup and edamame, then try the popcorn shrimp (sauce on the side), followed by salmon sashimi if you love it as much as I do. If not, you can always go with the kids’ bento box, which contains tempura, chicken teriyaki, edamame, and ice cream (dine-in only). If none of that suits you, go with a plain avocado roll (we like to add orange masago).

P.S. Masago is pretty much the same as tobiko.

The Crow’s Nest

4 Old West Lake Drive

Montauk, New York

Get ready for the best setting with a grassy hill, a beach, and a stream in which you can catch fish!  The most awesome part of this restaurant is the lake because the water is shallow, there are many sandbars, and there’s a floating dock!

Food-wise, I recommend pasta with cheese and butter, though you can also get chicken skewers, hummus with pita bread, and halibut.  They have excellent gelato and sorbet and.. the watermelon juice is out of this world (and tastes best from the beach bar).  Don’t forget your minnow net!
